Great Heath Care Service Available in Ogden Valley

As a mother of three young children under the age of six, I am very used to the occasional trips to the doctor and emergency care centers. It always seems to be that a high fever or a sore throat always rears its ugly head at 5:30 p.m. or later on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday when normal pediatricians and doctors are not open or not on call.

So over the course of the last few months, I have tried out our wonderful Physicians Assistant who has an office here in Ogden Valley. Eileen Burke with Health Resolutions has been a lifesaver for me and my family! I got her name from our local preschool, and I immediately put it into my cell phone for safe keeping. Not one week later I had to call her for the first time. My ten-month-old had an ear infection. Antibiotics, rest, and peace of mind were prescribed and filled right here in the Valley.

I didn't have to go to Ogden, I didn't have to wait at the Urgent Care for hours on end, I just called her, met her at her office, and we were on our way. I was sold, and a sworn advocate for Eileen!

A few weeks later, my two daughters woke me up at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday morning with a terrible blistering rash and swollen faces. I, of course, speed dialed my favorite Valley P.A. and by 9:00 a.m. my girls were feeling the relief from medications given by Eileen for whatever poisonous plant they had gotten into the night before. Since then, she has looked up my daughter’s nose for a button, she has checked out my husband’s broken hand and given him advise on how to splint it, and has helped with various other calls about this and that.

Eileen Burke is so knowledgeable and patient, and she takes her time to make the right diagnosis. If she isn't sure, she researches it and lets you know all the possible scenarios. She is very thorough and caring. After every visit, she follows up with a phone call to make sure we're doing well and on the mend.

After doing a little research on her background, I found that she has had her Emergency Medicine Degree since 1985 and her Nursing Degree from the University of New York since 1993. She has been a Physician Assistant Family Practitioner since 2003, and is AAPA National Board Certified, and belongs to the UAPA and NCPA organizations. I even heard she worked at NASA!

We are very lucky to have her here practicing in our Valley. I would recommend her to anyone, young or old, for any health care need. Her office is located in the grey office building across from the Eden Post Office. And, people, she will even make house calls! v Take my advice and do as I did-put her number into your cell phone for safe keeping: 435-901-HEAL (4325).
